What's Expected of Me?
As a member of the Friday AM Connection Club, we have a few guidelines which we ask all members to follow. These include:
- Attend every meeting if possible.
- Be on time (arrive at 7:15 AM to allow time to place breakfast order, etc.)
- If you plan to be absent, notify the Chair or Vice-Chair (phone or email)
- Be prepared to give a 30-second introduction at each meeting
- Prepare in advance when you are the scheduled speaker.
- Be an active participant in our meetings
- Generate at least one lead/referral a month for one of our members.
- Bring at least one guest a year
- Attend as many mixers as possible and represent our club (pass out business cards).
- Volunteer to be on Chamber related committees, participate in round-table discussions, make recommendations on how to improve membership, etc.
- Pay your dues on time.
Additional Information
As a member, you are also entitled to put a short description about your products or services on our Web site. Be sure to provide this information to Brendon Whateley as soon as possible. We also recommend you check your listing periodically to ensure all information is correct.
Please note, if you are absent for 3 meetings in a row (excused or otherswise), you could be asked to leave our group and replaced by another member with the same type of business or profession as yours. Please make every effort to attend each meeting and notify the Chair or Vice-Chair if you will not be able to attend a meeting.
Last, each December (if we have sufficient funds) we have a holiday party where members are encouraged to bring their spouse or guest. Provided your membership dues are current through January of the following year, the club will pay for your dinner (but not your guest).
